PROJECT MANAGERS Chapman's PMs manage all phases of projects, from lead-generation right through closeout: estimating, value engineering, critical-path scheduling, subcontractor selection, punch list, and client retention.
requirements: A four-year degree, 5+ years of construction experience, and an in-depth understanding of construction industry practices are all essential. Furthermore, Chapman Project Managers must possess excellent interpersonal and people-management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. |

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGERS Our Assistant Project Managers work closely with our senior staff, learning all phases of the project management process. Along the way, they're exposed to a wide variety of project types, learn about Green Building and Indoor Air Quality from Chapman's LEED® Accredited professionals, and develop their technological skills working with Chapman's state-of-the-art project management systems.
requirements: A four-year degree, preferably in construction management or a related discipline, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with a team of construction professionals. |

PROJECT COORDINATORS Chapman's Project Coordinators provide clerical support to both project managers and administrative staff. They're involved with a wide range of project-oriented activities, from assisting with the bidding process, to assembling project closeout packages for clients and maintaining our subcontractor database. General office-oriented responsibilities include assisting the office manager and answering phones.
requirements: A successful project coordinator must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and be able to work quickly at multiple tasks. A proficiency with Windows-based PCs is also a plus. |

LICENSED CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISORS Our Construction Supervisors provide overall on-site construction planning, management, and supervision of commercial construction projects. At Chapman, Supervisors have the opportunity to learn about Green Building techniques and Indoor Air Quality considerations from Chapman's LEED® Accredited professionals. They also develop their technological skills working with Chapman's state-of-the-art project management systems.
requirements: A minimum of 4 years in a supervisory capacity on construction projects, or a four-year degree in a construction-related discipline. Massachusetts Construction Licensing required, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. |

ASSISTANT SUPERVISORS Our Supervisor Trainee Program gives recent college graduates the chance to train to be hands-on Construction Supervisors under the guidance of our most experienced mentors. Our Assistant Supers earn their Massachusetts Supervisor's Licenses while working on a wide variety of project types: corporate, medical, retail, community, institutional, and historic restoration.
requirements: A college degree and a willingness to learn. Some of Chapman's most successful hires have come from industries other than construction: accounting, business management, finance, recruiting, and high tech. |
