Last winter, Chapman expanded its reach by opening an office in Manchester, NH. One year later, we are excited by our northern team’s successes and the great partnerships we have built. In 2017, we saw continued growth in our corporate, healthcare, and education markets, while also getting the chance to work on historic restorations, high-security projects, and lab facilities with some great clients, including:
The Riverwoods Group
The Riverwoods Barn project was a historic restoration of an 1800s barn in Durham, NH, converting it for use as commercial office space. The success of this job hinged on our ability to manage and adapt to unforeseen conditions throughout the project.
University of New Hampshire
We completed multiple small renovations under our term contract, including a life safety upgrade in the historic Smith Hall, an upgrade to finishes in Kendall Hall, and a quick response to disaster recovery in Rudman Hall. Ensuring the safety of all occupants was paramount so the school could continue to operate at normal capacity.
Our team completed a 30,000 square foot renovation for the Velcro Companies at their Manchester, NH manufacturing facilities. This project included new office space for their research and development team, new rooftop units, new mechanical systems, and the construction of an internal connecting stair featuring reclaimed structural beams from the existing roof.
Catholic Medical Center
Our team completed work in an occupied specimen lab to update and prep the space for new processing equipment. To maintain operations during renovation, we coordinated closely with equipment manufacturers for install and final utility connections, as well as providing temporary utilities.
As we begin 2018, we are ramping up for some exciting projects with Portsmouth’s South Church, The Seabrook School District, and more.
We are enthusiastic about strengthening and building relationships as our Manchester office continues to grow in the upcoming year!
