Bob D’Amico Retires

April 2024

2024 is a significant year for Chapman, marking not only 40 years in business but also a special milestone for our longest-tenured employee, Senior Vice President Bob D’Amico. Bob joined us in 1984 as Chapman’s second employee and announced his retirement earlier this year.

Bob’s journey has been instrumental in Chapman’s growth — from our earliest days executing high-end residential and retail projects to our current position serving prominent clients across Massachusetts and New Hampshire in diverse sectors such as corporate, healthcare, education, manufacturing, life science, and non-profit.

Throughout his time at Chapman, Bob has overseen projects for long-standing clients like Commonwealth Financial Network, The Gifford School, and Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. His impact on Chapman extends beyond project management; Bob also guided our contracts and legal department and played a significant role in our subcontractor procurement group.

“Forty years ago, I called Bob and asked him if he’d join my new company. I honestly couldn’t have asked for or imagined anyone so completely dedicated to Chapman’s interests and success. Thank you, Bob!” said Chapman’s Founder, John Hall.

Bob, we extend our deepest gratitude for your overwhelming contributions to Chapman and our team over the past forty years. We wish you some well-deserved rest and relaxation!
