On Thursday, April 18th, the town of Madbury, NH hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction of their new public library. It was an exciting day for the town, which has spent several years planning and fundraising for what will be their first permanent public library.

Chapman has been engaged in preconstruction with the library’s steering committee and ManyPenny Murphy Architecture for the past several months to finalize design documents that meet the library’s program goals and budget. The new building will incorporate high-efficiency mechanical systems and a super-insulated envelope to allow for lower utility costs.
