Brian Iammartino and Ryan Gorman founded btcRE to redevelop and revitalize underutilized real estate assets outside of Boston’s central business districts. The first building the partners purchased was 35-37 Medford Street, a 40,000 sf Somerville brick and beam structure in desperate need of repair. Together with Chapman and ARC Architects, they transformed this property into a thriving office space for maturing start-ups and creative-economy tenants.
