2019 Year in Review: Projects

2019 was an exciting and busy year at Chapman so we rounded up a sampling of projects we completed to look back on the great year we had with some of our clients, partners and employees!

HEALTHCARE
From dental suites to operating rooms, Chapman worked with a variety of healthcare clients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We take infection control and safety seriously while working in these sensitive environments to keep patients, staff and visitors safe and healthy.

Parkland OR, Encompass Health Rehab, Navid Family Dental

LIFE SCIENCE / TECHNOLOGY
Projects with complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems require great attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory requirements. We work collaboratively with the design team and our subcontractors to forecast challenges and deliver solutions that achieve both design and functionality.

Boston University CISLE, InfraredX, Cleanroom Construction

EDUCATION
Education projects & tight schedules tend to go hand-in-hand. When completing renovations during a winter or summer break communication, collaboration and proper planning are essential to finishing these projects before students return to school.

Bentley University Collins Hall, Gann Academy, BU Photonics Classrooms

REPOSITIONING
Whether we are modernizing a building for a company’s employees or making improvements to attract new tenants, safety is always a top priority while working in these occupied buildings. Creating logistics, safety, traffic, and phasing plans are all used to ensure building occupants are safe and uninterrupted during construction.

Woerd Ave, Cognex Repositioning

RETAIL
Timing is everything on a retail project as any delay will affect the company’s bottom line. With proper planning and communication, we make sure everything is done right the first time and our client’s spaces are completed on time.

Night Shift Brewing, Cycle Gear

COMMUNITY
At Chapman, community contributions go beyond monetary donations and volunteer outings. When working with non-profit and religious organizations, we understand the importance these projects to the surrounding communities and utilize our construction expertise as well as our transparent, collaborative approach to fulfill their goals and budget.
